Cable Testers
Sub Categories
Tests : UTP. FTP. Coax cables, two, three, or four wire pairs in twisted pair cables and test all category UTP cables and hardware. Verify end-to-end connectivity per EIA/TIA 568 wiring standard. Detects wiring problems : Opens, Shorts, miswires (Crossed, Reversed, Split pair). Locates wiring/connection errors (distance to the open or shout) Measures cable length

Cable Expert (Model No.: CE-1000) NanoTronix Cable Expert (Model No.: CE-1000) is the all-in-one and easy-to-use network qualification unit measuring logical network performance and physical condition of network cables. It allows network engineers to install and maintain efficiently local area networks (LAN) with 10BASE-T and 100BASE-TX based on the Ethernet protocol. For measuring logical network performance, it provides the round-trip time (RTT) testing to measure network speed under dynamic and static configuration protocol and the IP scanning to show the information on all the terminals connected into the local network. It can also evaluate the capability of link partners such as supported network speed (10BASE-T or 100BASE-TX) and duplexity (half- or full- duplex). The device provides the physical information of the LAN cable under test such as cable length, faulty positions (open or short) and wire map (open, short, split, crossed and reversed). In particular, with the novel high-resolution graphic TDR (Time-Domain Reflectometer) and TDX (Time-Domain Crosstalk), it is possible for the users to locate faulty positions along the cable up to 500 meters. These TDR and TDX can...

3-In-One DMM/TDR Cable Fault Finder for Energized or Unenergized Cables
The Dual Mode TDR is capable of finding faults (Opens, Shorts, Arc Faults) on fully energized cables up to 600 Volts. Arc Chaser can monitor live cables for intermittent conditions, capturing these “events” and reporting where and when they occur. Using advanced Spread Spectrum Time Domain Reflectometry (SSTDR), Arc Chaser is capable of accuracy to fault of better than 1%. Works on both energized or unenergized cables Discover cable events which can only be shown under load Monitors intermittent arc faults, opens and shorts Find faults caused by vibration that are otherwise hidden Shows results in graphical or text format Clear and simple view of faults Saves reports, transferrable to PCs for storage, and printing Maintain history of information Cable fault finding Easily verify quality of entire cable length Tone generation Signal tracing of cables Cable Test Setup Walks users through cable test setup Self-calibrates to maintain accuracy over time or due to environmental change No metrology calibration required English or Metric Measurements International applications 600V Category II Meets full international requirements for working on energized...
